Standing Water Present Never enter standing water to reach a breaker panel, outlet, or appliance. Keep children and pets completely away from flooded electrical areas.
Equipment Contacted Water If water has reached any electrical equipment, leave it powered down and unused until evaluated by a qualified electrician.
Conditions Dry & Safe Have an electrician inspect outdoor outlets, protective GFCI devices, and existing wiring before restoring power or experiencing further severe weather.
