Behind the Work
These notes come from interviews with our technicians.
A tidy panel directory is useful only when someone has proved each entry at the load.

Practical advice from the field: keep the electrician’s final circuit schedule with the records for your next renovation.

Our process
How We Test, Document
and Explain Every Job
A panel directory that did not match the house
The owner of a 1940s cottage could not tell which breaker controlled the converted dining room. Tracing found six directory entries that did not match the rooms they described, because past alterations had never been added to the panel schedule. The team mapped every accessible circuit, checked each entry against its outlets and lights, and left a room-by-room directory with photographs. The wiring tested well, so no equipment was replaced.
Installed work checked against the documents
A property manager wanted proof that a lighting job matched the paperwork. We went back to the completed job, checked mounting and control operation with a maintenance employee, and put the inspection record and product information into one handover pack. The manager gained a record that could be found without relying on the original installer.
A wiring route agreed before quoting
A homeowner was not sure whether an earlier proposal included wall repairs. We walked the planned route together and marked access points on a drawing before quoting. The signed scope separated electrical work from decorating, so there was no disagreement when the work reached the finish.
A customer on the first job asked: “Does an inaccurate label mean the panel is unsafe?” Our answer: the labeling needs correction, but the condition of the panel needs a separate assessment.
