Overview
A commercial electrician for stores, offices and multi-unit buildings
When the lights go out in a store, a freezer circuit trips or an office needs power for a move-in, you need an electrician who understands that the business is waiting. Red Electricians is a licensed and insured commercial electrician for service and repair work. Commercial electrical services start from $69 per hour, and you can call (213) 322-0128 to talk through the job. For the full list of what we do, see all of the electrical services we offer.
Who calls us
Store managers, office administrators, property managers and tenants. Many of them need approval from someone else before work starts, so we talk about the price on the call and you can take it to whoever signs off.

Pricing
Commercial electrical rates: where the $69 per hour starts and what changes it
How much does a commercial electrician charge per hour? Our commercial electrical services start from $69 per hour. That is where pricing begins, not a total for a job.
Commercial work does not come with a free estimate. We discuss the scope and the price on the phone, before anyone comes out, so you know what to expect and can pass it on to whoever approves the work.

The visit
How a business service call runs, from site details to sign-off
- Call us, or send the form. A form request gets a callback in about 5 minutes.
- Give us the site details: the type of business, the area, who can authorize work, when we can get in, any gate or security codes, and how high the work is.
- We agree a time. Same-day service is possible in many cases, and if not, it is usually the next day or within a few days.
- The electrician diagnoses the fault on site.
- The scope and the price are agreed before the work starts.
- The repair is done and tested, and we sign off with the site contact.
If the problem is on a production circuit, tell us when you book so we can arrange a realistic test load.
Field notes
Field notes: motors, kitchens and always-on lighting
At a light-industrial tenancy, a packaging motor overheated and stopped after a tenant fit-out. The manager was ready to replace the motor, but the phase currents measured 8.1A, 8.3A and 15.7A, which pointed upstream. A damaged disconnect contact was unbalancing the supply. We replaced the disconnect and coordinated a motor condition check. Under comparable production load the phase currents returned to 8.4A, 8.5A and 8.4A. The line was down for six hours during one shutdown shift. The relevant reference is NFPA 70 (NEC), 430 and 110.
A three-phase motor complaint deserves a supply-balance assessment before replacement is approved.
Our electrician
Our electrician’s advice: arrange a realistic equipment test load when booking a production-circuit investigation.
A restaurant kitchen that kept growing
A restaurant’s kitchen expansion had no single electrical schedule, because the equipment list kept changing. We gathered the real appliance ratings, planned the branch circuits and isolation points around how the kitchen would actually be used, and arranged inspection before the new circuits went into daily use.
An office corridor lit all night
A single sensor zone kept an office corridor lit through the night. We checked how staff really moved, revised the zones and tested the shutoff from every approach, while keeping the access lighting that had to stay on. The facilities team received the settings.

Customer feedback
What business customers and managers say
We have few commercial reviews on Google, so we show the one that is clearly about a business site. It is from our Pasadena profile.
- Google review
“Our food manufacturing facility failed its fire marshal inspection because the emergency lighting above the production floor exit doors was drawing power from the same switched circuit as the overhead work lights …”
